Nurturing youth and igniting potential
MNR Coaching have been supporting Schools, Families and the Community since 2013, delivering a range of sports and activities both in term-time to educational settings and delivering Holiday camp provision to our communities in the holiday periods.
Our mission is to be able to Inspire Young People across Berkshire and South Oxfordshire to have an active life, expanding social networks and having fun through sport in their communities.
Passionate since 2013
MNR Coaching was formed in 2013 by three sports graduates with a passion for sports coaching and inspiring young people to reach their full potential. One of the sports graduates Michael Chard recognised quickly that whilst there were a number of coaches available there was a lack of connectivity between the coaching industry and the community, upon this MNR Coaching quickly established a partnership with West Berkshire School Sport allowing schools to not only receive coaching from MNR but to receive CPD, competition opportunities and a fixture network to promote a ‘legacy’ to the work.
Moving through to the present day MNR have quickly established a reputation as a high-quality coaching provider and this has been continually fed back to the organisation through testimonials which are available on request.
Expanding our network
With a solid foundation setup MNR Coaching expanded in 2015, replicating the successful model in both Maidenhead and Ascot School Sports Network and Slough. These partnerships allow schools in these areas to access Funded CPD, Enrichment Activity, Festival opportunities and much, much more!
The Team have gone on to be an integral part of the County School Games running each year with over 1,000 young people involved from all parts of the county.
Creating a successful community has led to our ‘LET THEM PLAY’ Holiday Camps being created. MNR now work with over 80 schools across the area and have 4 x holiday camp venues – we are excited to see what the next part of the journey brings!
